    Who we are

    Taxi Squad is a text-message substitute-player service for Iceoplex Simi Valley adult hockey leagues, operated by 805 Maverick. This page explains what information we collect and how we use it.

    Information we collect

    • Your name, mobile number, and team.
    • Division, game date/time, and rink for sub requests.
    • USA Hockey membership number for goalie opt-ins.
    • The contents of the text messages you send and receive.
    • SMS consent and the timestamp recording when you agreed.

    How we use your information

    To match substitute players with teams, to text you about available games or approved subs, and to confirm USA Hockey eligibility. We do not sell your information.

    SMS text messaging

    By checking the consent box on the request or join form, you agree to receive SMS text messages from Taxi Squad / 805 Maverick about substitute-player requests. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. We store your consent and the timestamp as proof of opt-in.

    Data retention

    We keep your contact and consent records for as long as you're active in the program and afterward as needed for record-keeping.
