Taxi Squad is a text-message substitute-player matching service for Iceoplex Simi Valley adult hockey leagues, operated by 805 Maverick. It helps teams find available goalies and helps goalies find games.

Any player on a registered Iceoplex adult-league team may request a sub. Goalies must hold a current USA Hockey membership to receive offers.

There is no per-sub charge to requesting teams — the team's season fee covers the service. Goalies are not charged to be on the list.

By checking the consent box on the request or join form, you agree to receive SMS text messages from Taxi Squad / 805 Maverick about substitute-player requests. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Your consent and its timestamp are stored on your record.

We text goalies in your division first, then nearby divisions. The requesting team approves or declines each sub by text. If no goalie is available, we ask before searching lower divisions.

Taxi Squad does not guarantee a substitute will be available for every game. Eligibility and rink rules still apply.
